Main Presenter Biography I have worked in the veterinary industry on and off for over 45 years. The variety in the work and a love of animals always drew me back to this occupation. In later years I volunteered overseas where I witnessed the cycle of poverty and disadvantage first hand. I decided to start a university degree in development studies while working and raising a family. I graduated last year and was looking for an opportunity to contribute to disadvantaged communities here in Australia. Here I am. My role is both challenging and wonderful.
