Main Presenter Biography ob Barnett is from Kempsey NSW, located on Dunghutti land. He graduated from the NSW Aboriginal Environmental Health Trainee Program in 2007 and was employed by the Mid North Coast Local Health District. Rob went on to complete his Master in Health Service Management through the Australian College Health Service Management Program. Rob has since been employed in various management roles within MNCLHD including, Senior Aboriginal Health Education Officer, Aboriginal Workforce and returned to Environmental Health. For the past 9 years Rob has been working a Regional Aboriginal Environmental Health Project Officer, with NSW Health Aboriginal Environmental Health Unit. Rob has previously been a member of ERPATSIEH and currently is a member of the NACCHO Expert Steering Commitee working on the National Strategic Roadmap for Establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Environmental Health Workforce.

Michelle’s primary research responsibilities include managing the Environmental Health portal, as well as working in a small team on the Health Workers, Cultural Ways, and WA State portals. Prior to joining the HealthInfoNet, Michelle taught for 14 years in academia within the Social Sciences, including within the areas of Social Inequality, Human Rights, and International and Community Development. She has a doctorate in Anthropology and History from Curtin University.

Joseph has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health from the University of Western Australia and is a Senior Program Officer for the WA Department of Health's Environmental Health Directorate coordinating the Aboriginal Environmental Health Program. He has experience delivering diverse and high-impact work for Aboriginal communities across several areas including Suicide Prevention, Social and Emotional Wellbeing, Youth Mentoring and Community Development.
