Big Rivers Region Waste Management Working Group, NT

Liam Harte graduated from Murdoch University, majoring in Environmental Science and Environmental Restoration. With a passion for maintaining our beautiful environment for future generations, he has acquired funding for, and assisted in the delivery of, land care projects that have been recognised as finalists in environmental awards in his home state of Western Australia. His career so far has seen him take on a number of diverse roles in the health, resources and agricultural science sectors.

Liam is the coordinator of the Big Rivers Region Waste Management Working Group, that strive to provide better environmental health outcomes in remote towns and communities within the Northern Territory region by improving how waste is managed.

In his free time Liam loves exploring his new surroundings in the Territory with bathers, walking shoes and camera, while keeping an eye out for crocs.
