Emily McDonald is a Kija women through her Mother and Grandfather from the East Kimberley region in Western Australia. Currently residing in Canberra, Emily works in the Water Team as a Public Health Project Officer facilitating the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander targeted consultation project on the update of the ‘Guidelines for Managing Risks in Recreational Water’. She is currently in her final semester of university studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition Studies).
