Jo-Anne Kelly is a proud Dunghutti woman with connections to freshwater and saltwater country. She has worked in government and the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector as well as being a consultant at different times for the past 30 years.

She has a Diploma in Project Management, Diploma in Management, Bachelor of Teaching and a Master of Arts in Social Policy.

She is currently the Program Manager, Community and Initiatives for Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation and oversees the Kempsey office. She is actively involved in the social emotional wellbeing programs, Indigenous Youth Connecting to Country and supports the implementation of transiting Year 6 students to Year 7 as well as other community initiatives.
