Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities (AMRRIC)

Jessica Hoopes is a veterinarian and AMRRIC’s One Health Research Coordinator. Her current role focuses on coordinating efforts to build the One Health evidence base in partnership with researchers and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities; supporting research projects that address community identified priorities, improve local capacity, and ensure contextually appropriate research practices. She has ten years of experience clinical veterinary practice, animal welfare and population management in Canada, Fiji, Papua New Guinea
