Rowena Johnson is a Wuthiti woman with ties from Injinoo to Lockhart River, she is the Environmental Health Worker at Badu Island along with Karyche Bowie. 

Rowena commenced work as an Environmental Health Worker in 2017 with Torres Strait Regional Island Council and has since completed Certificate IV in Animal Control and Regulation, Certificate III in Indigenous Environmental Health, Certificate IV in Government Investigation and Pest Management Technician Training including Timber Pests.  Rowena would like to undertake further studies to assist her in her position
