Don is the founding CEO of the award winning Malpa Institute. He has worked alongside Aboriginal people across Australia and is called Tjungurrayi and Wotoma in Central Australia. He is a Winston Churchill Fellow and was awarded a United Nations Media Peace Prize and produced documentary projects on ABC, NITV and the BBC. He has been a member of the NSW Clinical Excellence Commission Advisory Committee and the ABC Advisory Board. He is a frequent contributor to programs on the ABC. Don has been an academic at Macquarie University and Charles Sturt University where helped train many of Australia’s foremost journalists.
